Increasing your GAP sales 

Many dealers have GAP as an option for their customers, but sell very few policies. Our experience tells us that properly presented, you can expect to sell GAP to 40% of your new vehicle customers where their Demands and Needs flag GAP as appropriate for them. We recognise that many dealerships may not be able to achieve this sort of sales penetration. This may be because of rapid staff turnover leading to a lack of product knowledge or lack of confidence to sell insurance add-ons, or it may simply be because the team are working flat-out just selling the vehicles.
